A mattress that
begins as sap
in a cup

1 The tree

Natural latex is the sap of the rubber tree, harvested from living trees without felling them.

2 The sap

It runs white from a slanting cut in the bark into a cup hung below. We choose our materials for their own qualities and find them mostly close by, which limits transport.

3 The latex

Natural latex is prized for its softness, its elasticity and its longevity: it recovers its shape rather than hollowing out. We guarantee ours for 10 years.

4 The pin holes

Each core is moulded as one block, in one or two layers, and perforated so that air moves through it. Its seven comfort zones vary the support beneath the different areas of the body.

5 The hand

In our workshop in Bangkok the latex core, the cover and the finishing are assembled by hand, under the direction of Dominique Bienfait. Meet Dominique
